Hi, I'm Maureen Kaye
I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with extensive training and experience in a number of areas. I’m located in Simi Valley and Westlake Village, California and have been supporting individuals, couples, parents & children throughout California for many years.
A bit about me professionally
Even 40 years ago when the world still had a negative stigma with treating mental health, I knew I wanted to be a therapist.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University Northridge, and my Master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy from Phillip’s Graduate University in Encino, CA
A bit about me personally
Simi Valley has been my home for 47 years. I settled down with my husband to build our lives and raise our family.
Beyond the fulfillment I get from helping people professionally, I enjoy hobbies that connect me with nature including photography, hiking, gardening and camping.
My clients have shared that I’m a warm, caring and compassionate therapist – with a sense of humor. I take pride in that. I want you to feel comfortable and safe. You should be able to feel authentically yourself.
My goal is to help you by giving you a sense of relief and hope even by the end of our first session.

I help many happy-again couples every year who found their dream relationship together. Whether you fight all the time, or just want something "more" you should try Emotionally Focused Therapy sessions.
EMDR & Brainspotting
I am a Certified EMDR therapist. (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) I help people with anxiety, depression, or who have dealt with harsh or traumatic events - past or present. I want to help you.
Play Therapy
Play therapy really helps kids express themselves and heal. The online therapy approach for this isn't always an optimal environment. So we have a Simi Valley location dedicated to helping little ones heal & grow!
